Gyroelongated Square Bipyramid Terrarium

This geometric glass terrarium is constructed from sixteen equilateral triangles, but the way they come together is visually interesting. Cutting triangle shapes from glass sheet is forgiving and so long as they're cut out accurately, assembly is fairly straightforward. A thinner glass was used for this project and it helped create tighter looking joints in the final gyroelongated square bipyramid terrarium.

...this deep dive is a work in progress, check out the Durer's solid glass geometric terrarium in the mean time for a more comprehensive look at how these are made.
